The Highway Department's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting in the maintenance of all Town-owned buildings, grounds, parks, and other town owned property

Maintaining the Town's 65.86 miles of roads, 11 of which are gravel. Work required includes general maintenance, resurfacing, reconstruction, improvements, snow removal, and brush / tree removal within the town right of way
